October 22 - November 30 2017 Summary

This is another shorter Summary Sunday as Aaron has been less active on his various medias. This is our brief coverage of the rest of October, and all of November. To check out our previous summary posts, click here

Aaron posted on October 26 that he was still in treatment, but had gained 40 pounds in his time spent there so far. We're excited for his improving health and wish him well as he continues to improve! He later shared the following photo on instagram on November 10, though, showing his progress and stating "This is my before and after pics. I went from 115 to 160 pounds in two months I feel amazing."

A post shared by @aaroncarter on

He also shared in this tweet that he does still have access to his phone, and that he misses all of his followers while he had presumably limited access to and time for social networks.

Amidst his work on himself during his treatment, Aaron posted several thought-provoking quotes and statements this past month and a half.

On October 24th, Aaron posted an Albert Einstein quote, on the 26th, he posted a quote by Eraldo Banovac, and on November 11 he posted a John Burroughs quote. All three are below as well as an instagram photo from November 18 that he captioned with a quote by Harvey Mackay.

Aaron also posted some of his own thoughts on love, 2017, and 2018.

He shared a hopeful tweet on November 7, to some lucky person out there. It reads "I love you. We just haven’t met yet."

He also shared his current relationship philosophy, sharing that he will let love find him while he lives every day to the fullest and doesn't dwell on his romantic status. We hope this approach makes Aaron happy, and are excited for him!

On a similar note, Aaron tweeted on November 30 that he strives to live for the future rather than focusing on the past, and that he's excited for 2018 and what the new year will bring. He highlights his excitement for his music in 2018.

Speaking of Aaron's music, on November 7th Aaron tweeted a great thought about what he loves about music, included below. On the 22nd he shared a picture of himself working on a song, captioned, "back in the lab". He also shared a picture (shown below) on November 29 of him presumably working on his music, captioned "focused."  The next day, the 30th, Aaron tweeted that "Today was a dream come true! Can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow." We think - and hope - he was talking about working on new music. Stay tuned for any musical developments and releases by Aaron between now and his upcoming album release!

Back in the lab.

Aaron made some time in his busy music life this month for a charitable project as well. On Thanksgiving he posted a photo of himself doing food prep for Project Angel Food. That instagram post is shown below.

Aaron didn't just celebrate Thanksgiving, he also got into a halloween mood in a post from November 28th, sharing a picture of what we presume to be his socks as well as wishing twitter followers a Happy Halloween on the holiday itself.

Fall 2017 Summary (Sunday) -- New Aaron, New Twitter Feed, New AaronCarterBlogs. Sept 14 - Oct 21, 2017

This Summary post will be a bit different than the pervious ones. I will be covering all of Aaron's current twitter feed, from September 14 - Now, October 21. To see other Summary Sunday posts, click here

Recently Aaron deleted all of his old tweets, and started fresh. We want to honor his "new" twitter by fully covering it, minus those tweets he has since deleted.

First things first, Aaron's twitter feed starts up again September 14, with him sharing a link to his most recent album, LøVë.

He has devoted several tweets to LøVë, some linking to be able to purchase it on itunes , and others sharing the number of times his song has been played on spotify (listen here!).

He's clearly proud of his work, and of how well LøVë is doing. We highly suggest you click here to see your listening and buying options for the EP! Aaron's song can also occasionally be heard on the radio

On the theme of love, Aaron tweeted about true love on September 14, expressing interest in finding his true love and also sharing his thoughts on happy endings as well as retweeting some true love sentiments he seems to agree with, or like.

Besides tweeting about finding true love, Aaron also tweeted about his future family goals. He shared that his 5 year plan includes having kids. When one fan tweeted at him that he'd be a great dad, he replied that he can't wait. We can't wait to see Aaron fulfill his goal of being a dad!

https://twitter.com/aaroncarter/status/908908515619692544

While Aaron doesn't have children of his own, he did post a video on September 14 showing how good he can be with kids. The video is of him and a kid dancing on stage during one of his performances, he also ties her shoe on stage when he notices it came untied. Adorable!

Aaron also posted this adorable dog video on September 15. Aaron sings in this video!

On the note of Aaron's music, Aaron's possibly biggest news: he officially has an album coming out, February 2018! It will be released through Sony.

Aaron also mentioned that he was working on music on September 15th, and teased that he has a surprise for fans on Halloween. Many fans suspect it could be a re-release, or remixed release, of "I Want Candy" one of his most requested throwback songs at his concerts. We're excited for whatever it is!

And did you know, Aaron has been making music for more than 22 years? He mentioned that in a tweet on September 16!

As always, Aaron knows his fans are what helps keep him going, and he acknowledged that with his tweets. Aaron sent out a number of encouraging tweets, and retweeted several fans expressing their happiness with how he interacts with fans, and that they love his positivity. Some are shown below.

Besides sharing support for his fans, Aaron also shared some of his own words of wisdom and an inspirational quote from a book by Dan Millman

The final segment of this Summary Sunday is covering Aaron's tweets about his health, and that aspect of his personal struggle. Aaron shared some of his thoughts on dealing with his issues publicly, retweeted several messages from fans on the matter, and also posted some pictures of cookies he was planning to enjoy. Some of these are included below. We are so happy that he's doing better!

Summary Sunday March 20-27, 2016

Summary Sunday is a series of posts where we post a review of what happened in the world of Aaron Carter the previous week. To see previous posts, click here

This past week...

Aaron started using a new social media platform, called SkooziApp. You can see his short video announcement about that here!

What up Facebook peeps!!? I'm gonna be on the new @skooziapp all day chatting with you!! If you wanna video chat with...

Posted by Aaron Carter on Tuesday, March 22, 2016

Aaron also encouraged his fans to add him on snapchat and talk to him there or just follow his story, and spent some time replying to fans' snaps. Add Aaron to follow his story, or maybe get a reply from him!

Another thing Aaron's did this week was give an interview to dailytarheel.com. In it he discusses his new album, his old music, and his thoughts on fans' reactions to his support of Donald Trump. He defends his announcement of support, and explains his frustration with those bashing him for said support, by saying "A lot of the people who are arguing with me — they’re not in my tax bracket; they’re not in my shoes; they’re not in my position." You can read more of his thoughts on the subject, and the rest of the interview, here

Aaron also discussed performing in North Carolina in the interview, since he had a show there this past Friday. Aaron did this concert in Carrboro, NC because fans had trouble getting to his previous performance due to weather. His show featured one of his co-writers on LøVë, @lakestreetlouie on twitter.

"@UNC @CatsCradleNC Friday night 3/25 10pm on stage 8pm doors All ages M&G available. Link In Bio ^"

This was Aaron's only show this week, following his busy two show (Boston, MA & Lynchburg, VA) weekend the previous week. Aaron's busy schedule kept him from getting much sleep over the weekend, and sadly he got sick after flying back to L.A. Sunday. Luckily, he's feeling better now after some time relaxing at his Malibu home.

His R&R included spending time with his dogs, which he shared with fans by posting a picture on Tuesday of himself holding his new pug puppy, Onyx, after his bath.

His downtime also included riding his dirt bike, a neon green Kawasaki he named Fiona, on Monday and Tuesday. Despite crashing, his posts share that he's having fun spending time on a hobby he's had since childhood.

Watch Aaron's P.O.V. recording of his ride. Warning: it's a bit dizzying

While Aaron was recovering he also expressed appreciation for his fans for their love and support when he didn't feel well, and in general.

Amidst Aaron's #fanlove this week there was an announcement that will make fans of his old music happy:

This announcement follows months of Aaron expressing frustration that some fans only come to his shows to hear Aaron's Party, I Want Candy, and That's How I Beat Shaq and a determination for his new music to impress his fans. We're excited that Aaron's throwback song at future shows will be one that shares the message of his upcoming album, LøVë.

Aaron devoted a number of tweets this week to promoting his first single from the new album. Fool's Gold drops April 1st. Our site is posting a count down to the release! Only 5 more days! Check out some of Aaron's posts from this week about Fool's Gold:

Aaron posted some promotional photos for the song

Posted by Aaron Carter on Wednesday, March 23, 2016

A photo posted by Fools Gold 4-1-16 (SINGLE) (@aaroncarter) on

He also posted a tweet linking to the team behind the song. Aaron has emphasized that this song, and album, is something he produced, wrote, and funded himself, but also credits his team for their help.

His #foolsgold tweets gave a shoutout to his brother too, who has a movie coming out April 1st as well. Be sure to support both Carter boys this April Fool's day!

To finish this week's post, we'll leave you with his words of wisdom tweets of the week.

Check back every week to stay up to date on the world of Aaron Carter. And don't forget to buy Fool's Gold on April 1st!

Summary Sunday, December 7-13 2014

Summary Sunday is a series of posts where week we post a review of what happened in the world of Aaron Carter the previous week. To see previous posts, click here

This past week...

Aaron turned 27!

We wrote a post for Aaron's birthday, which you can see here. We also ran a contest for his birthday, which you can see here!

Aaron's twin sister, Angel, also turned 27! Aaron gave her a shout-out amongst all the birthday wishes he got on the 7th.

Aaron celebrated his birthday amongst fans in Dallas Texas, showing dedication to his fans by performing on his birthday.

Speaking of the tour, this week Aaron performed the last shows of the year on the #ACWWT.

He also announced this week that a show that would have been this week, on the 13th, was rescheduled. We will be posting more details about the changes to his tour soon. In the meantime, the El Ray Theatre posted announcements on twitter about their reschedule, which Aaron retweeted.

These shows were the last ACWWT shows of the year, and, besides those that were rescheduled, the last ACWWT shows on the US leg of the tour. That means that Aaron started his holiday tour break this week, which he seemed excited about.

He also shared that he was exhausted, and that he's sick, probably with the flu. Feel better Aaron!

Luckily, he also tweeted that he's resting at home, which will lend to a speedy recover, and he revealed that he has some exciting holiday plans!

He sent this cryptic tweet, then (spoiler alert!) later revealed he's spending his holiday in Hawaii!

He continued to get in the holiday spirit by tweeting requests for his fans to send him pictures of snow, if they had any where they lived, and by sharing his current favorite holiday movie.

Aaron's week wasn't all performing and relaxation though, he also did two interviews.

One interview wasn't much elaborated, but Aaron did retweet a picture of himself doing an interview with 96.7 Kiss FM

The other interview was publicized for the one of the interviewers making Aaron blush with one of her comments. But that's not all that happened in this interview! Aaron talks about the breakdown of focus on his music career that happened around when he turned 18, and addresses other celebrities currently going through breakdowns, like Justin Bieber. He also talked about his appearance on House Of Carters in 2006 and that in the future he wants to focus on his music rather than ever appear back on reality TV. Finally he brings up what seems to be his own personal buzzword, that he wants to "transcend" from some of what happened in his past.

You can watch the full interview here

Aaron's tweets often reflect his ambition to rise above the negativity in the past. Like we have before, we'll end this week's post with three of these transcension tweets. These tweets reflect positivity and sometimes give advice. This week we have both.

That's it for this week!

Check back on the 21st for our next Summary Sunday post!

Summary Sunday, November 30 - December 6 2014

Note: After some technical difficulties we finally got this week's post to work properly

Summary Sunday is a series of posts that cover what went on in Aaron Carter's life the previous week. You can check out all the posts in this series here. We opted to upload this week's post on Monday rather than Sunday to not overload you with posts on Aaron's birthday.

This past week...

Aaron performed four more shows on the ACWWT.

Three of which are covered above, the other of which is covered in this article by The Local Voice.

The article also features an interview with Aaron in which he reveals an interesting fact -- he doesn't write his own lyrics, but rather has "people that work on my behalf and write songs for me". While some may criticize any artist who doesn't write their own songs, I think it's admirable that he doesn't claim to do something he doesn't. The fact that he doesn't write all his own lyrics also doesn't discredit his own artistic talent, as he's revealed at past concerts that he taught himself guitar, does have some songs he seems to have written himself (one of which is featured in this video we posted), and mixes his own beats.

That's not the only interview Aaron was featured in this week!

On Monday, Aaron discussed his music and brings up who wrote some of his songs again, as well as performs, in a two part interview for Music Monday on the DailyBuzz

On Tuesday Aaron appeared a youtube show called Pillow Talk with CJ, a regular feature of Memphis' Q107.5's youtube channel

CJ Lusk, who interviewed him, also posted this awesome picture from the interview on his twitter

Which prompted several other screencaps to be posted as people watched the video, some of which Aaron retweeted.

Besides these interviews, he also posted an "Ask Aaron Carter" video to his official youtube channel, which you can watch if you purchase a paid monthly subscription to his VIP channel, or via a 14 day free trial.

For $4.99 a month the paid subscription could be a worthwhile investment, as he'll probably post more videos in the future. He certainly hyped up the channel on facebook and twitter before releasing the video (which subscribers could watch live).

On the topic of exclusive videos with Aaron, he facetimed a number of fans this week. Aaron posted several screencaps from these conversations on twitter and a video clip from one on facebook. As he often does he posted his phone number on both media's with requests for people to facetime him, as well as this sweet message to his fans.

Besides spending his time on facetime, Aaron also extended a few more #fanlove offers to his fans this week.

He posted about his free college show offer again,

He also offered a one day #fanlove offer for tickets to the rest of the shows on the ACWWT this year, as detailed below.

Besides his own #fanlove offers, Aaron also promoted the contest we ran for his birthday, both by retweeting us and tweeting his own link to our contest.

On the topic of Aaron's birthday, he tweeted sharing his excitement for it, as well as a gift request. His tastes have matured, he no longer wants TMNT gifts, but would prefer one of his new favorite things, Louis Vuitton. He also tweeted this week that all the women in his life deserve the finer things, particularly LV. While we doubt that Louis is in the budget for most fans, this tweet certainly gives insight into the general idea of what he'd prefer to get. Between these tweets and his tattoo, we can be sure who Aaron's favorite designer is!

Despite his adult tastes, Aaron can still throwback to his younger self. This week, he posted a picture of himself, in his little bit of free time on the tour, watching the Disney special he once appeared in.

Merry Christmas Lizzie McGuire. #IWantCandy #AaronCarter #Flashback

Merry Christmas Lizzie McGuire. #IWantCandy #AaronCarter #Flashback

As well as a tweet with a long overdue realization about just how much his fans love him

His other throwback of the week included a gif of Nick smashing Aaron in the face with a pie at the Nick Choice Awards as Aaron appears to be making his acceptance speech for an award.

Nick wasn't the only member of the family Aaron posted about this week, he also made several posts about King, his english bulldog and "son".

You can follow king_thebulldog_ on instagram too!

We'll leave you with one final tweet for this week - an inspirational and positive post like some of the final tweets from our other Summary Sunday posts.

Check back on the 14th for another Summary Sunday!

Summary Sunday, November 23-29 2014

Summary Sunday is a series of posts that cover what went on in Aaron Carter's life the previous week. You can check out all the posts in this series here. Due to holiday madness this week's post is going up a day late. Sorry about that!

This past week...

Aaron performed two stops on the #ACWWT, both in his home state of Florida. On the 23rd he performed in Gainesville and on the 25th he was in Jacksonville.

After the show in Jacksonville, he had a break in the tour (until his next show, on December 2nd). The break is definitely well deserved, he tweeted that by his estimate he had just done "70 shows without stopping".

He also recognized his own hard work in the caption of one of his instagram posts

On the topic of Aaron doing a lot of shows -- did you know he's done over 800 in the past 4 years? He tweeted this bit of information with a plug for the upcoming international leg of his tour, including a link to a poster for his Amsterdam show on instagram. He also tweeted shout outs to fans from a few other countries later in the week.

Though he took some time off this week, he still visited a sorority and a fraternity in Gainesville. In his postings about these visits, he opened up about his own life, stating that he wishes he had the chance to experience college life. He did seem happy to get to "vicariously do that" through his sorority contest via The Odyssey Online. Statements like that make me wish I was part of a sorority so I could share my college experience with Aaron!

aaroncarter's photo on Instagram

Even if you don't belong to a sorority, you can still try to bring Aaron to your school with the new contest he announced late Saturday night.

That's not the only offer Aaron had for his fans this week! Aaron's upgrade offers have been documented in every Summary Sunday post thus far, and now have been given a name by the man himself: " #fanlove " offers. This week's was the chance to get a Diamond VIP package for only $175 (normally $400). Diamond VIP packages are limited to 10 per show (because they include the chance to tour Aaron's bus), so this was an offer to act quickly on. Aaron revealed this offer early to members of his VIP text club (we got the text at 3:01 PM EST Monday), then announced it on twitter and facebook at 10:15 and 9:15 PM EST respectively.

If you want to join his VIP text club (it's free to join, though carrier charges may apply) text CARTER to 84444. He often reveals exclusive offers this way, so I highly recommend joining!

Besides promoting joining his text club by giving members early access to his #fanlove offer, Aaron also promoted some of his other medias this week. He tweeted and posted on facebook about his pandoraspotifyofficial youtube channel, and new shots account (which he introduced with the picture below).

He also took time this week to advise fans on the best way to get a response from him (he's known for retweeting fans, following them on twitter or instagram, and more).

Though the tweet is no longer up, he also advised fans not to send him DMs (direct messages) as he rarely checks those.

Finally, this week Aaron posted a reminder on twitter that his birthday is coming up!

We have a special contest & collaboration for Aaron's birthday we'll reveal later this week. We hope everyone celebrates it in their own way, especially Aaron!

Summary Sunday, November 16-22 2014

Summary Sunday is a series we started; every week we post a review of what happened in the world of Aaron Carter the previous week. To see last week's post, click here

This past week...

The #ACWWT continued with another 6 shows, in Alabama and Florida.

During the week Aaron also posted a couple of excited tour updates on twitter and instagram:

Aaron also announced two new stops on the tour, in New Jersey

You can get tickets to those shows below, or get VIP packages for the Asbury Park and Teaneck shows.

The shows were announced amidst promotion of another VIP upgrade opportunity. Aaron announced on Sunday that he was bringing back the VIP package upgrade perk he ran last week. He initially announced that limited quantities were available, which was later clarified to be 20. In the end, he extended the contest for anyone who purchased a VIP package before 6 PM PST on Tuesday. Just like last week, Aaron announced these updates on both twitter and facebook, continuing to reward diligent fans who follow him on social media.

Besides this major upgrade offer, Aaron also had a perk available for anyone at his show in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday ~ buy any merch item at the show and get it signed by Aaron after the show. This announcement came following the announcement that that show was sold out!

Last Sunday was also one of Aaron's dancers, Lee Karis's 25th birthday. Aaron gave her a birthday shout-out, and many of his twitter followers followed suit.

Another important person made an appearance on Aaron's twitter and instagram this Saturday ~ his little brother Kanden! Kanden is Aaron's half brother on his dad's side, and is one of Aaron's lesser known relatives. Kanden is one of the three siblings Aaron has on his dad's side (along with a half-sister and a step-sister). How many fans out there knew about Kanden before this week?

aaroncarter's photo on Instagram

It looks like Aaron and Kanden hung out on his bus while he was in Florida, his home state. But that's not all Aaron did in Florida, he posted a number of pictures on instagram and some updates on twitter, sharing his enthusiasm to be home.

Aaron's busy week also included several interviews, the big ones being with MTV, WBRC Fox 6 in Birmingham AL (or "brrrrrrmingham" as he called it), and The Daily Buzz (which airs December 2). He posted a few things on instagram about the "brrrrrrmingham" appearance.

Freestyling with the weather man #WeatherManFreestyle brrrrrmingham #Alabama

A video posted by Aaron Carter (@aaroncarter) on

The MTV interview was notable because it featured Aaron's video commentary as he watched the music video for "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" possibly for the first time EVER. You can watch that video below, or check out the whole interview here

Interviews weren't the only socializing Aaron did this week. He also visited sororities in Alabama and retweeted a number of things the girls were posting and posted a couple of pictures and a video of his own. You can learn more about how to bring Aaron to YOUR sorority at The Odyssey Online

The final tweets we want to cover this week are some wise words from Aaron, shown below

and a shout-out and thank you to his fans.

Sure was a busy week! Check back on the 30th for the next Summary Sunday post!

Summary Sunday, November 9-15 2014

Today we're starting a new post series, called Summary Sunday. An idea submitted by our media guru Mike Faga, every Sunday we'll look back at what went on in the world of Aaron Carter the previous week.

This past week...

Aaron performed 5 shows from #ACWWT

And Pat Solo, who is featured on Aaron's new song OohWee, joined the tour (below picture is from his instagram)

iampatsolo's photo on Instagram

Speaking of the #ACWWT, this past week was a busy one for deals and contests for tickets for the upcoming shows! Not only were there a number of show or city specific deals tweeted about by Aaron this past week, but he also had his "most #insane #VIP Package #Contest EVERRR".

Not only did Aaron offer a free category upgrade to the first 20 people who purchased a VIP package after the contest was announced, but later that night Aaron announced he was adding another 10 people to the contest, and the next morning announced that ANOTHER 10 lucky people would get this upgrade.

Obviously following Aaron on social media has it's perks (he announced the contest on both facebook and twitter). Also obvious is how much Aaron appreciates his fans, it's rare to find a celebrity so willing to have as many contests as Aaron does, making his VIP accessible to more of his followers.

In less tour related news, fans who follow Aaron's twitter were treated to the surprising announcement:

I'd love to hear the story behind that tweet!

Also, this week Aaron was interviewed by Creative Loafing Atlanta. The article covering the interview, entitled, Aaron Carter wants you to call him discusses Aaron's difficulties in getting his fans to accept that he's not just the kid we all love from the 90's anymore. I highly recommend reading it if you haven't already.

One of the article's last lines is a quote from Aaron, ""It doesn't stop ringing, and I don't stop picking it up," he says. "I always pick it up"". Speaking of Aaron picking up his phone, this week he posted his number on twitter again, telling fans to facetime him. As of posting, the tweet is still up, so hurry and write down the number!

That's it for this week, but be sure to check back on the 23rd for another Summary Sunday!
